Website Progress: Rules and How to Play!

If it wasn't obvious, this website is still very much under construction - and I am very thankful for your patience with me.

Apparently, I didn't just taking on the solo production of a trading card game, but I also took on website design (I mean, Wix has made that a lot easier and faster) as part of this hobby. And I think that's going well. Overall, I am happy the feel and aesthetic of the website. And now the functional side is slowly coming to life just as we're gearing up for the Core Set release.

The latest page on the site to go live is How to Play! This section details the rules (as well as offering a Google Doc link to view the rules and possibly make printing them easier for you).

So now, not only will you find all of these awesome cards distributed here, but you'll also find the very necessary rules and guide to play this game. It includes the rules for deck and will be updated with more guides and advice.

A little roadmap piece for you fine denizens of the internet: The next major part of the site I'll be working on, to coincide with the release of the Core Set, will be the card database. Every card will have a database page dedicate to showing and explaining it. It'll also link to certain combos or specifically referenced cards in their effects (such as cards used for morphing). This database will also pack a little trivia about the cards and their creation, and maybe a few fun facts about animals - cause it's the animals that are awesome at the end of the day!

As soon as you have the cards, you'll have everything you need to play and build and learn this game that I've poured so much love into! And if you know any of your friends love animals, or nature, or the wild wonders of this world, share AniMaul with them and get them involved!
