So, a few topics to cover with this post. I'll go into them below but for your ease of access, click the link to jump to the section you want:
Base Set Progress
The upcoming base set, titled Wayward Tides, will be available soon but only for a limited time. And during its run, two smaller sub-sets will be available for even shorter times, alternating with each other - they are Terrible Tentacles and Treacherous Trenches.
All cards in Wayward Tides have been made! But some play testing and additional screening (after how many cards from the Core Set have need some small touched to fix) is required before they can be released. Additionally, Wayward Tides won't be released until both of its subsets have been made.
Just the same, the Terrible Tentacles subset has been completed. Also in need of testing and screening so that I can bring the best quality I can to you with as little room for poor oversights as possible.
The second sub-set, Treacherous Trenches, which will feature deep sea fish is still in progress. It is around 10% complete, and then will also need testing and screening. As soon as Treacherous Trenches is complete; I will announce the release date for Wayward Tides.
Miniature Design Finalised
Prints for miniatures are being prepared and made. For now, I have decided on the design for these miniature prints and am preparing the last of the templates.
These will be 1 inch by 1 inch squares, with the image of the animal/critter, on a colour matching background, and bordered based on its rarity. Of course they will be available for free with each set. Making them in bulk will be quite easily once the templates are finalised.
The Core Set's miniatures are my first priority. But once they're done and uploaded, all new sets will come with their miniatures in the future.
Core Set Fixes
The Core Set has had four card fixes, and once again I've snuck them into the download links already available. If you want the official and updated versions of these cards then you can download them again for free. But don't fret, the Core Set will be always be available for free!
Four cards have been changed:
A version 2 of Flock, written to be clearer so that its intended use can be more easily understood.
A version 2 of Opaque Jellyfish, just fixing a little grammar mistake.
A version 2 of Talon Swoop, unifying the terminology across cards for "in play".
A version 3 of Tornado, fixing the sentencing.
